HitchPin is an oilfield hitch calendar for iPhone. It works offline. There is no account, no server, no analytics SDK, and no advertising. App Store Connect nutrition label: Data Not Collected.

What we collect

Nothing. HitchPin does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. We do not run analytics, crash reporters, ad networks, or attribution SDKs. There is no user account and no sign-in.

Where your hitch lives

Your hitch (start date, days on, days off, and display options) is stored on this device only, as JSON in the App Group group.com.hitchpin.app. The HitchPin app and the HitchPin widget share that App Group so Home Screen widgets can show the same hitch. The hitch never leaves the device unless you export it (QR, paste, or year PDF) via the system share sheet.

Camera

Camera access is used only to scan a hitch QR from your spouse (Share → Scan QR). The image is decoded on-device. HitchPin does not upload photos, does not access your photo library except through the system picker if you choose a QR image, and does not use the camera for anything else.

No tracking

HitchPin does not track you across apps or websites. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to track. We do not use Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).

Children

HitchPin is a productivity calendar, not directed at children, and is not Made for Kids.
